250km Bike ride in 24 hours

My name is Rhys and Myself and my mate Alex are attempting to ride 250kms in under 24 hours on the 22nd of August in the attempt to raise $10,000 for cancer council.

I survived childhood leukaemia, and cancer has affected my family through my nana, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy and cancer has affected Alex's family through two of his aunts, his uncle and his grandmother.

Neither of us are experienced distance riders and will be well and truely out of our comfort zones. We aren't equipped with any real cycling gear and will be completing it on a mountain bike. It’s a massive physical challenge but doesn’t even compare to the fight cancer survivors and the less fortunate put up day in and day out.

Any donations will help, we also welcome personal donations of equipment or gels etc if you know either of us personally. We’re only in year 12 so all the funding is coming out of our own personal limited funds. I urge you to be charitable and donate to the Daffodil Day appeal.

With your help, we're getting closer to a cancer free future
